Koo Bon-kwon, the Executive Director and Head of Sales at LS MnM, was born in 1984. He is unique among the third-generation executives of his family’s business empire as he does not hold a C-level position. Koo Bon-kwon is the eldest son of Koo Ja-chul, Chairman of YESCO Holdings, and the fourth son of the late Honorary Chairman Koo Tae-hwoi.
Koo Bon-kwon started his career at the consulting firm Accenture in 2010. He later continued his career at LS Cable & System before transferring to the business strategy team of LS MnM in September 2016. As of this year, he has been with LS MnM for seven years.
Koo Bon-kwon has rapidly ascended the corporate ladder like other third-generation family executives. He was promoted to department head in 2017 and has consistently advanced his rank about every one to two years. He became a director at the end of 2018, an executive director at the end of 2019, and was promoted to executive vice president at the end of 2021.
