Koo Bon-kyu, President and CEO of LS Cable & System, was born in 1979 as the eldest son of Koo Cha-yub, Chairman of the Board of LS Cable & System, and the second son of the late Honorary Chairman Koo Tae-hwoi. In 2017, he advanced to the role of Executive Director of the Industrial Automation Business Division at LS ELECTRIC. In 2019, he transitioned to LS Mtron as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Following the appointment of Koo Ja-eun as the Chairman of the LS Group in 2021, Koo Bon-kyu was promoted to Vice President and CEO of LS Mtron.
