In concert with Fergie, the only female member of American hip-hop band the Black Eyed Peas, Samsung Electronics has worked out a cameo for its MP3 player Yepp K5 to appear in her latest music video, the company said Tuesday.
The video contains "Fergalicious," the title song of her latest album "The Dutchess," and thanks to the bumping music flowing from the built-in speaker of the K5, a hopping party gets going.
K5 models are getting a lot of screen time, also appearing in the music videos, "Wait a Minute" by the Pussy Cat Dolls and "La Femme Chocolat" by Olivia Ruiz. A Samsung press release said the firm was trying to promote the player with an array of music marketing techniques, including organizing touring teams, and officially sponsoring the Mnet KM Music Festival.
"Allying ourselves with influential foreign musicians, we will continue to do our best to capture the global market," it said.
