Kia is recalling 208,858 units of its Soul compact vehicle in the U.S. due to faulty gas pedals, which were at risk of bending or fracturing.

The recall covers gasoline and electric models manufactured between 2014 and 2015.

No casualties have been reported, but Kia will replace the component for free starting March 24. The automaker will also voluntarily recall over 6,000 Souls here, notifying drivers of the problem and providing free replacement.
