New uniforms for the South Korean national football team were released on March.19.
Nike has unveiled the new home and away kits for South Korea.
The red-based home kit is highlighted by double lines on the collar and sleeves, reminiscent of traditional Korean patterns often seen in historical wooden buildings. A claw mark of a tiger is engraved on the collar to symbolize the dignity and keenness of the Korean players.
The away kit features a deep black base with shimmering pearl-colored patterns, reminding of traditional Korean craft, the mother-of-pearl lacquerware. The jersey includes a claw mark on the collar as well. Nike incorporated traditional Korean art and craftsmanship into the uniform design to inspire new generations.
The uniforms will be available to Nike members at its online store starting March 21 and to non-members from March 27.
