Chey Min-jeong, the second daughter of SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, has recently entered the healthcare sector in the United States with the launch of a startup.

On Mar. 28, as the South Korean business community reported, Min-jeong was announced as a Co-Founder of Integral Health, a newly formed AI-based healthcare startup. Integral Health collaborates with U.S. healthcare organizations to offer behavioral health management programs.

A Guanghua School of Management graduate at Peking University in China, Min-jeong volunteered to join the Korean Navy as a naval cadet in September 2014 and was discharged in November 2017.

Before this new endeavor, Min-jeong joined SK Hynix in 2019, contributing to INTRA, a group dedicated to international trade and policy initiatives in both Washington and Seoul. Her experience also extends to M&A and investments at the U.S. subsidiary of SK Hynix.

Her journey continued after her departure from SK Hynix in February 2022, becoming an unpaid advisor to Done, a telemedicine startup in San Francisco, and dedicating her time to educational volunteer work with SMART, a local NGO.

A business insider said, “Min-jeong has always aspired to be influential, harboring a childhood dream of becoming a president. Her diverse expertise in politics, society, and culture and her keen interest in endeavors that enhance human life speak volumes about her capabilities.”

Additionally, her elder sister, Yoon-chung, the eldest daughter of Chairman Chey, is currently the Vice President of Business Development at SK Biopharm, a part of the SK Group specializing in medical ventures.
