Louis Vuitton has confirmed it will host a global event in Jeju next month, marking the first time the French luxury brand has held such an event on the island.
Set for Oct 22-23 at the JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa, the event will gather a select group of global VIP customers, celebrities, and media representatives. Although specific details remain under wraps, the event is expected to feature an exhibition unveiling new products, along with an exclusive dinner and gala for invited guests.
Luxury brands often organize high-profile events for VIPs and celebrities to bolster customer loyalty. Last year, Louis Vuitton hosted a major fashion show on Seoul’s Jamsugyo Bridge, while Cartier held a gala dinner, presentation, and performances at Jangchung Arena in May, prior to debuting its jewelry exhibition.
Jeju, South Korea’s top resort destination, has been increasingly attracting attention from luxury brands. Chanel ran a pop-up store at the Shilla Jeju, Bulgari followed suit at the Parnas Hotel Jeju, and Burberry made waves on social media with an experiential store in Seogwipo.
