The meeting, held at the Great Hall of the People, was attended by CEOs from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Qualcomm. These executives had traveled to China for the China Development Forum (CDF), which took place on March 23 and 24.

Earlier, Lee attended the CDF in Beijing, where he engaged with global business leaders. Outside the forum, on March 22, the first day of his trip, he met with Xiaomi Chairman Lei Jun. While Samsung and Xiaomi compete in consumer electronics and smartphones, Xiaomi’s recent expansion into the electric vehicle market has created opportunities for collaboration in automotive electronics.

Lee traveled from Beijing to Shenzhen on March 24 to visit BYD’s headquarters, where he met with Chairman Wang Chuanfu to discuss potential collaboration in automotive electronics.
