Actress Kim Hye-soo was dumbstruck that she has become a PR girl for Internet porn sites. Some porn sites are indiscriminately using Kim's name in their e-mail advertisements.
In order to spark curiosity in Korean Internet users, some porn sites are attaching Kim's name to the titles of e-mail advertisements they randomly send out. They have titles like, "Kim Hye-soo's shocking total nudes," and "Kim Hye-soo's nude release."
Thinking the mail might concern information about Kim or movies in which she has appeared, Internet users are instead shown porn site advertisements that are full of obscene pictures and writing. There are even times when opening the e-mail connects you immediately to porn sites.
Kim said, "I will take measures after getting a complete understanding of the situation."
In order to evade Korean law, however, most of these websites set up base overseas, so responding might not be so easy.
Porn site like this often steal the names of famous stars when they make their advertisements, but most of them use pictures out of nude photo books or fake star porn videos. Kim has already taken a lot of heat since it was revealed that in her latest film "The Beauty Without a Face," she would appear in a rather shocking nude scene.
The film is a high-class erotic thriller, and neither still shots nor video footage from the movie have been released yet.
