Lee Chang-ho, professional baduk player of 9-dan rank and unarguably one of the best baduk or Go players in the world is finally tying the knot.
"I had feelings for her since last year, and decided to get married this spring," the 35-year old said of his fiancée, 24-year-old Lee Do-yoon. "I'm grateful to her for saving me from a bachelor's existence." Lee was speaking at a press conference on Tuesday. The couple will marry on Oct. 28.
"In some aspects, I am immature and Do-yoon is grown-up," Lee said when asked about the huge age difference between the two. Lee Do-yoon, who was a reporter for online Go site, is a former amateur baduk player who had been training to become a professional. She once played baduk with her fiancé, but "I gave up because I couldn't concentrate."
