Shinsegae Group vice chairman Chung Yong-jin will tie the knot again in May, this time with flautist Han Ji-hee.
The wedding will be held at the Westin Chosun in Seoul on either May 10 or 12. It is the second marriage for both, and only relatives and a few friends are invited.
They met at a music event in 2007 and will likely set up home at a residence with swimming pool Chung recently built near Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province. Chung moved out of his parents' house in Hannam-dong, Seoul last October.
Han is a daughter of the late former vice president of Korean Air Han Sang-bum, who died in May last year. She went to a preparatory school for the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna and later studied in France and the U.S. She is now a doctoral candidate of music at Seoul National University, while teaching at the University of Suwon and Sungshin Women's University.
Rumors of their relationship started to surface when Han's father died. Chung visited a memorial altar at Asan Medical Center in Seoul almost every day and even accompanied Han's family to his grave, acting like a bereaved son. Chung also met guests side-by-side with Han at her solo recital at the Seoul Arts Center in July last year.
