Shinsegae Group vice chairman Chung Yong-jin and flautist Han Ji-hee tied the knot at the Westin Chosun in Sogong-dong, Seoul on Tuesday.

Han (31) is the daughter of former Korean Air vice president Han Sang-bum, who died in May last year. She went to a preparatory school for the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna and is now a doctoral candidate of music at Seoul National University, while teaching at the University of Suwon and Sungshin Women's University.

The wedding was closed to the public, with only about 100 guests invited. Samsung Group chairman Lee Kun-hee, an uncle of Chung's, was absent because he left that morning for Lausanne, Switzerland to help Pyeongchang's bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Chung (43) and Han dated for three years since they met at a music event in 2007. They will start their life together at a house Chung built in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province last October.

Chung divorced actress Ko Hyun-jung in 2003.
