Veteran Korean golfer Grace Park married Kim Hak-su, a businessman and an alumnus of her elementary school, at a closed ceremony in Seoul on Tuesday in the presence of their families, relatives and friends.
"We both greatly appreciate all the blessings and support of everyone here, and I will live happily with my husband and cherish him for the rest of my life," said Park, who is better known in Korea as Park Ji-eun. "I will think about my future career path while I continue my studies."
She retired from the U.S. LPGA Tour in August with six career titles on the prestigious tour, including winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship in 2004, and is now pursuing a master's degree at Korea University.
