Doosan Bears pitcher Dustin Nippert is getting married to a Korean bride.
Entertainment news outlet Dispatch on Friday published photos of Nippert and his fiancée having their wedding photos taken at a studio in Seoul.
Nippert, who made his Korea Baseball Organization debut in 2011, divorced his first wife after 10 years of marriage last year, and met his fiancée in May this year.
According to a Doosan staffer, Nippert did not reveal his divorce to avoid unwanted attention for the team, especially when he was struggling with injuries.
The identity of his fiancée is unknown.
Nippert has been playing in Korea since 2011 and would in theory be eligible for citizenship.
