Kim Hye-sun will marry a businessman in Seoul on Friday.
The actress, who is twice divorced and has two children, said, "After going through many ups and downs, I met a good man. I have decided to start again to live happily with him."
Kim was a teen idol in the 1980s and 1990s but now mostly plays smaller parts, except for one scandalous outing as an older woman with a young lover in the film "Perfect Partner" in 2011.
She met her new husband in a volunteer group while she was suffering financial difficulties.
