A woman who accused actor Lee Jin-wook of rape will face charges of slandering him, police said. Prosecutors were denied an arrest warrant Monday and will proceed without.
The two met last month through a mutual friend and had sex in the woman's house. The next day, she complained to police that the actor had raped her.
Lee vehemently denied the accusation and said the sex was consensual. He filed a counter-complaint.
After being questioned four times the woman admitted to making false accusations.
