Park Hang-seo is the most highly paid coach ever to lead Vietnam's national football team.
Vietnamese media outlet Dan Viet on Sunday listed the country's five highest-paid national football team coaches.
Park topped the list with a monthly salary of US$50,000, which adds up to some W720 million a year (US$1=W1,234).
Portuguese coach Henrique Calisto placed second at US$25,000 a month.
Park, who took the helm of the team in October 2017, led Vietnam to the final of the Asian Football Confederation's U-23 Championship, the semifinals of the Asian Games in Indonesia and the ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup title in 2018.
Last year, Vietnam reached the quarterfinals at the Asian Cup and won its first-ever gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games in the event's 60-year history.
