Korea's temple food will be taught as a regular course by renowned culinary school Le Cordon Bleu London.

Temple food refers to the dishes monks and nuns eat at temples and is famous for its all-natural and healthy ingredients.

The Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism said Thursday the school will offer at least one lecture per semester.

The school has offered special culinary demonstrations of Korean temple food on a couple of occasions along with guest chefs.

This semester's first class will be zoomed next week, with Korean Buddhist nun and chef Beop Song introducing several kinds of temple dishes using seasonal vegetables and giving tips for how to prepare and cook them, along with other background information.
