Actress Han Ji-min said her latest film "A Year-End Medley" gave her a new appreciation for the way people continue to experience love throughout their lives, in an interview last week.

She said the film differs from a typical romantic comedy in the way it "depicts various kinds of love, from that experienced by high school sweethearts to middle-aged couples."

"A Year-End Medley," which hit theaters on Dec. 29, is a heart-melting collage of love stories involving couples who happen to gather at a hotel for various reasons or occasions.

Han said she particularly liked the story of an older couple played by veteran actor Jung Jin-young and actress Lee Hye-young, adding she was impressed by the fact that falling in love even later in life can still be so beautiful and romantic. She added, "Looking at the couple, I wondered if I could really start a new relationship at that age."
