Actor Park Bo-gum has completed his mandatory military service.
Park was effectively discharged from the military on Monday as he began his final military leave and is not required to return to his base under coronavirus guidelines.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the military now allows soldiers to wrap up their service without returning to their bases if they plan to take their personal leave immediately prior to being discharged.
Park joined the Navy's band as a piano player in August 2020 after going through a test and interview. He served in Changwon, Gyeongsang Province. He often cut his fellow soldiers' hair and even obtained a barber license last December.
Fans are eagerly awaiting his next move. Park's last project before enlisting was cable channel tvN's drama series "The Record of Youth."
