Netflix's Korean series "The Glory" claimed the top spot on the streaming platform's weekly viewership chart of non-English TV series for the first week of January.
Netflix said on Wednesday its latest Korean series was its most-watched non-English-language series for the period between Jan. 2 to 8, logging a combined 82.48 million viewing hours around the world.
The series was in the top 10 in 62 countries, including Canada, France and Japan, while topping the chart in Hong Kong, Korea and Thailand.
Written by star screenwriter Kim Eun-sook and starring Song Hye-kyo, "The Glory" tells the story of a woman seeking well-planned vengeance on her persecutors for brutally bullying her in high school.
The series consists of two parts of eight episodes each. The second half is scheduled to be released in March.
