“Elite League”, a new unscripted series presented by Coupang Play this year, stands out as a reality survival show, featuring a clash of the top 1 percent geniuses from Korea’s most prestigious universities.
The competition is fierce, relying solely on the participants’ cognitive prowess. Players are students from esteemed universities such as Seoul National University, KAIST, POSTECH, Yonsei University, and Korea University - who have undergone a rigorous pre-testing process to secure their spots, preparing to engage in missions and challenges that rank among the most demanding in the history of cerebral survival programs.
Each university is required to face off against each other using only their intelligence, without any political maneuvering, betrayal, alliances, or deceptive tactics. Their challenges span a spectrum of difficulty, including arithmetic, computation, deduction, games, and memorization.
