“2023 was the year that the K-pop genre solidified its place on the global business stage,” Billboard remarked, highlighting HYBE’S exponential growth. The publication detailed HYBE’s strategic expansions, including the acquisition of Atlanta-based hip-hop label Quality Control and the foray into the burgeoning Latin music scene through the purchase of Exile Music Group and the establishment of HYBE Latin America.

Billboard further emphasized the worldwide impact of HYBE’s artists, noting the continued success of K-pop on a global scale.
