Conan Gray, the popular pop star, has joined Weverse, one of the biggest South Korean fandom platforms, along with other global artists. With K-pop artists like BTS, Blackpink, and SEVENTEEN building a huge fandom worldwide, global pop stars are also showing interest in Weavers.

Weverse is a mobile app and web platform created by Hybe. The app is designed to host multimedia content and facilitate communication between artists and their fans.

On the other hand, its e-commerce platform, Weverse Shop (previously known as Weply), offers artist-related merchandise and subscriptions for content available on Weverse.

Starting with Conan Gray, Weverse announced on Mar. 14 that American singer-songwriter ‘thuy,’ rising J-pop star ‘Ayumu Imazu,’ and ‘syudou’ will open official communities and engage with fans worldwide.

Conan Gray is currently one of the most prominent pop artists in the music industry. His 2020 single ‘Maniac’ has captivated young listeners worldwide.

He has also gained a significant number of followers in S. Korea, holding his first concert at the Olympic Park KSPO DOME last year. Prior to the release of his third full album, ‘FOUND HEAVEN’, on April 5, Conan Gray will be opening an official community on Weverse to interact with his fans.

Conan said, “I am very happy to open my own Weverse community and communicate with fans worldwide in a new way. I look forward to sharing stories with fans through fan letters as soon as possible.”

thuy, a Vietnamese-American singer-songwriter, has gained worldwide fame after her title track ‘girls like me don’t cry’ ranked 8th in the ‘Most Used Songs by Global TikTok Users in 2023′. This song has caught the attention of major international media outlets like Billboard and Rolling Stone. On Mar. 18, thuy will open a community on Weverse to interact with her fans.

Two famous J-pop artists are also joining Weavers. Ayumu Imazu, also known as the ‘Japanese Bruno Mars’, will open his community on Weverse on Mar. 28 and start communicating with his fans. Along with him, syudou, a Japanese singer-songwriter and producer, is also joining Weverse on the same day.
