K-pop girl group ILLIT, the latest sensation, has entered four U.S. Billboard charts just eight days after their debut.

According to the latest charts from Billboard, released on April 2 for the week of April 6, the group’s title track “Magnetic” from their debut mini-album “Super Real Me” ranked 63rd on the Global 200 and 33rd on the Global Excl. U.S. charts. This is the highest chart entry on both charts for a debut song by a K-pop girl group.

The five-member group’s album also clinched the No. 10 spot on the World Albums chart and No. 15 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, which recognizes emerging musicians worldwide, marking the group’s entry into a total of four Billboard charts in their debut week.

The quintet has achieved impressive results on Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming platform. The song “Magnetic” made history as the first K-pop girl group debut track to enter the Daily Top Songs Global chart on its release day, climbing to a peak of 14th place on April 1 and maintaining its spot for eight consecutive days. The track also reached a high of 51st in the Daily Top Songs U.S. chart on the same day. With over 22 million cumulative streams, “Magnetic” has quickly amassed nearly 2.8 million listeners, showcasing a rapidly growing fanbase.

According to the Hanteo Chart, “Super Real Me” sold over 380,000 copies in its first week alone, setting a new record for the highest first-week sales by any K-pop girl group debut album and ranking among the top five first-week sales for any K-pop group debut album.

Comprising members Yunah, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha, ILLIT made their highly anticipated debut on March 25 with the album “Super Real Me,” conveying a message that resonates deeply with teenagers worldwide: “My real story is the greatest story.” Through their title track “Magnetic,” which vividly portrays the fervent heart of a teenage girl rushing toward her crush, the five members have captivated K-pop fans worldwide.
