Go Youn-jung, a South Korean actress who starred in the popular TV series “Alchemy of Souls” and “Moving”, has been named the new model for NH Bank.
The actress is set to appear in upcoming campaigns for both the NH Bank and NH Card, according to the bank on April 7. She will be featured in print advertisements, followed by ads on TV, YouTube, and other social media platforms. NH Bank said they chose Go as their new model to add a trendy touch to the bank’s friendly brand image.
For the past three years, NH Bank featured actors Kang Ha-neul and Han So-hee in the bank’s advertisements. However, following the expiration of their contracts, the bank has been searching for a new model. Go was selected as the sole model for NH Bank after a thorough internal selection process, according to the bank.
Some critics have pointed out that Han So-hee failed to renew her contract with NH Bank after being mired in a love affair with actor Ryu Jun-yeol, which tainted her image as a celebrity in Korea. Han’s contract with Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s soju brand was also not renewed.
