SM Entertainment’s biggest girl group, aespa, is set to release their explosive new song ‘Supernova’ from their first full-length album titled ‘Armageddon’.

Supernova is a title track of the group’s first full album consisting of two title tracks. The album will be released at 6 PM on May. 13 on various music sites. The music video will also be available simultaneously on YouTube’s SMTOWN channel.

The new song Supernova is a dance track notable for its minimal track sound based on solid kicks and bass, written and composed by hitmaker KENZIE.

Supernova boasts an attractive synth melody and catchy lyrics that hint at an expanded universe. The lyrics foreshadow aespa’s expanded universe by comparing the opening of a door to another dimension to a supernova explosion, while the hip vibe of the music reflects the group’s unique intensity.

The music video of the song also emphasizes the group’s distinctive style with showcasing respective members’ active characters representing their ‘true selves.’ The video also incorporates contemporary technologies like AI, offering a conceptual visual aesthetic that underscores aespa’s unique identity and raises anticipation.

aespa’s first full album ‘Armageddon’ includes a diverse range of 10 tracks, featuring the double title tracks ‘Armageddon’ and ‘Supernova’. The complete album will be released on May. 27 at 6 PM, along with the release of all the tracks.
