South Korean girl group NewJeans topped Japan’s Oricon music chart with its Japanese debut single album “Supernatural.”
The group’s first Japanese track, “Supernatural‚” topped Oricon’s Daily Single Ranking chart on June 22. and maintained the No.1 spot for two consecutive days, according to Oricon on June 23. The single also ranked No. 1 on other Japanese music charts, including Line Music and AWA.
The quintet’s music videos are also garnering attention. The music videos for “Supernatural” and “Right Now” each claimed No. 1 and No. 2 spot on Line Music’s daily music video cart on June 23. The two singles also ranked No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, on YouTube Korea’s Top Music Videos chart on June 21
NewJeans is set to perform its latest songs on TBS’ “CDTV Live! Live!” on Monday. The group will also hold their first fan meet in Japan, “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,” at the Tokyo Dome on June 26-27.
