SM Entertainment will unveil the journey of their new British boy band, set to debut in the latter half of this year, through a BBC series.

The six-part series, titled “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience,” will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, the company said on July 12.

The series introduces a five-member boy group, formed in collaboration with SM and Kakao Entertainment’s North American subsidiary, and the British entertainment company Moon&Back Media. The production company conducted member auditions in the U.K., while SM provided K-pop expertise in music, choreography, and vocals.

The documentary captures the group’s 100-day stay in Seoul, where they underwent rigorous K-pop training facilitated by SM’s Artist Development Center.

Nigel Hall, co-founder of Moon&Back, described the series as a groundbreaking broadcast, highlighting the unparalleled K-pop training process and the debut of a British boy band on the global stage.
