The South Korean boy group TWS is making a significant leap into the global mainstream with its upcoming participation in KCON LA 2024. The group, which has gained popularity in Korea, will meet American fans for the first time at the event, which is scheduled from July 26 to 28.

KCON LA 2024 marks the first K-pop festival broadcast live across the United States on the CW Network. TWS plans to seize this opportunity to expand its global fan base. Their debut U.S. performance will take place on July 27 during the M-Countdown at Crypto.com Arena, where they will cover BTS member Jungkook’s solo song ‘3D’.

The group will also perform at the KCON STAGE at the Festival Grounds, located at the LA Convention Center and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, on July 28. This performance will be followed by a meet-and-greet event, allowing TWS to interact directly with their fans.

According to their agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, TWS has received numerous invitations from top U.S. broadcasters and festivals. The group’s busy schedule starts with KCON LA 2024 and includes an appearance on iHeartRadio LIVE with TWS on July 30. This platform has previously featured global pop stars like BTS’s Jungkook.

During the iHeartRadio LIVE appearance, TWS will be interviewed by celebrity host JoJo Wright. They will discuss their second mini-album, ‘SUMMER BEAT!’ and perform signature songs such as ‘plot twist’ and ‘If I’m S, Can You Be My N?’ The content will later be available on iHeartRadio and social media. A full version of their performance, ‘Meta Horizon,’ will be released on Oct. 28 on Oculus and Meta Quest TV platforms.
