HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE (members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae) will make their debut on the S. Korean music show on Sept. 12.

The group is scheduled to appear on Mnet’s M Countdown, performing their debut single, “Debut,” and one of the double title tracks from their first EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), titled “Touch.”

“Debut” marks the beginning of KATSEYE, filled with vibrant energy and upbeat rhythms. The bold and confident lyrics are brought to life by the members’ unique vocal styles.

Meanwhile, “Touch” is a pop track with intricate melodies that highlight the group’s ethereal and smooth vocal tones. The six members convey the complexities of love—from the pain of heartache to the journey of rediscovering self-worth—with a refined vocal delivery.

Since KATSEYE was formed using a strategic approach typical of K-pop—where extensive training and global reach are key elements—their performance on a Korean music show holds special significance, particularly because Korea is regarded as the birthplace of K-pop.

In addition to their appearance on M Countdown, KATSEYE is set to perform on KBS2′s Music Bank on Sept. 13 and MBC’s Show! Music Core on Sept. 14. The group shared their excitement about finally performing on the Korean music shows they had long dreamed of and expressed their hopes that many people would tune in and show their support.

KATSEYE released their first EP, SIS in August and has been gaining popularity since. Their album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks, while “Touch” ranked 120th on the Sept. 10 chart of Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global.
