Blackpink member Rosé will release her first studio album on Dec. 6, marking a solo comeback. Her management agency, The Black Label, on Oct. 2 unveiled the album cover image on its official social media.
The upcoming full-length album, “rosie,” will feature a total of 12 tracks, including the title song. Rosé has contributed to the songwriting and composition of all the tracks, promising to share a more candid and intimate side of her personal story.
As the main vocalist of the leading K-pop girl group Blackpink, Rosé has set numerous records, including debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart with her solo single “On The Ground,” released in 2021. She has also achieved the highest-charting position for a K-pop female artist on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rosé signed a management contract in June with The Black Label, led by producer Teddy, and a label deal with the American record label Atlantic Records on Sept. 27, paving the way for her domestic and international activities. Rosé's impressive presence in music, beauty, and fashion is heightening the anticipation of fans worldwide as she embarks on her global journey.
