Lotte Department Store said it will open a special pop-up store on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Seoul, from Oct. 9 to 20 to celebrate the ninth anniversary of K-pop girl group Twice’s debut.
Twice is a nine-member K-pop girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Last year, they became the first female K-pop group to sell out concerts at both the 50,000-seat SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York City. Earlier this year, their thirteenth mini album “With YOU-th” topped the Billboard 200 chart.
Lotte Department Store has decorated the pop-up store with the number 9 to celebrate both the group’s nine members and their ninth anniversary. The interior adopts the theme of a bright and cheerful baseball stadium while the exterior walls are adorned with photos of Twice as a baseball team. Sculptures of the group’s character, LOVELY, have also been placed around the store.
A Photoism photo booth is also available, offering fans limited edition Twice frames to commemorate their 9th anniversary.
