Rosé of BLACKPINK is enjoying a remarkable run of global success. According to Billboard’s announcement on Dec. 16 (local time), Rosé's first full-length album, Rosie, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, the chart’s main album ranking.

This marks the highest placement for a K-pop female artist to date. The singer, who previously dominated streaming charts worldwide with the mega-hit single APT., has now conquered the album chart with Rosie.

Notably, Rosé became the first and only K-pop female artist to enter both Billboard’s main charts — the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 — simultaneously within the single-digit ranks, setting an unprecedented record.

Released on Dec. 6, Rosé's first studio album, Rosie, features 12 tracks, including the pre-released singles APT. and Number One Girl, unveiled sequentially in October and November. Rosé participated in writing and composing all the songs, revealing candid, intimate stories through the album.

The music video for the new single Toxic ‘Til the End also premiered on the album’s release day. Rosé stars in the video alongside actor and model Evan Mock, portraying a romantic storyline that thrilled K-pop fans. The video’s stunning visuals and Rosé’s striking presence, paired with its portrayal of the emotional exhaustion caused by a toxic relationship — in line with the song’s lyrics — drew significant attention.

Following its release, Rosie received immense support not just in S. Korea and Asia but globally. The new single Toxic ‘Til the End climbed to the top of domestic streaming charts, continuing the momentum of the APT. phenomenon.

On the day of its release, Rosie also reached No. 1 on the daily album chart of QQ Music, China’s largest music streaming platform, reflecting Rosé’s popularity in the Chinese market. Additionally, Rosie surpassed 800 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest streaming platform, achieving the fastest milestone for a K-pop female artist.
