The rookie girl group izna is making waves in the industry, joining the lineups for major year-end broadcast stages and award shows just one month after their debut.
The group—featuring members Mai, Bang Jee-min, Yoon Ji-yoon, Koko, Ryu Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, and Jeong Sae-bi—is set to perform at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon on Dec. 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon and the 2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon WANNABE on Dec. 31.
They will also attend the 39th Golden Disc Awards on Jan. 5 at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan. The Golden Disc Awards, one of South Korea’s most prestigious music events, boasts a history spanning 39 years.
Formed through Mnet’s girl group survival show I-Land 2, izna captivated audiences across 217 countries and regions. They made their debut last month with a pre-release performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
Their debut album, N/a, has showcased strong global appeal, breaking into the iTunes Top Albums chart’s Top 10 in 14 countries upon release. The album also topped Japan’s Apple Music K-pop Album chart and Rakuten Music ranking, cementing izna’s status as a rising “global rookie” in the music scene.
