A fire broke out at the filming set of Netflix’s upcoming drama “East Palace” (working title), starring Cho Seung-woo, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Roh Yoon-seo, completely destroying a building on Dec. 21.

“East Palace” is a historical fantasy drama featuring Nam Joo-hyuk as Gu-cheon, a man with the ability to traverse the spirit world, Roh Yoon-seo as Saeng-gang, a court lady with a hidden secret, and Cho Seung-Woo as the King who summons them to uncover the curse haunting the palace.

The series, which recently announced its cast and held its script reading, was scheduled to film until early next year. While the premiere date has not yet been confirmed, concerns have arisen about potential production delays due to the fire.
