Netflix and Kingsmen are bringing ‘Squid Game: The Experience’ to Seoul’s Seongsu-dong on Feb. 28. Following successful runs in major cities like New York, Madrid, and Sydney last year, the immersive experience is set to land in South Korea. The New York location proved especially popular, with tickets selling out for eight consecutive weeks.
Coinciding with the release of Squid Game Season 2, the Seoul event invites participants to step into the show’s iconic games. Players will register via facial scanning and compete in six challenges, including ‘Red Light, Green Light’ and ‘Marbles,’ over a 90-minute session. One ultimate winner will emerge from each group. Visitors can also enjoy themed food and drinks, photo zones, and exclusive merchandise.
“Squid Game: The Experience is a new dimension of entertainment, bringing the thrilling universe of the show beyond the screen into reality,” said a Netflix representative.
Tickets are priced at 55,000 won ($37) per person on-site, with a 10% discount for online purchases. Early bird tickets, offering a 30% discount, are available online from Jan. 13 to 17.
