Released on Jan. 24, Netflix series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call is a webtoon-based mecical drama that tells the story of Baek Kang-hyuk, a skilled surgeon with experience from the warfield who joins a struggling trauma team to turn it around. Known for his quick actions to save patients during the “golden hour,” Baek is played by Ju Ji-hoon. Choo Young-woo is played by Yang Jae-won, Baek’s first protégé, showcasing their mentor-mentee relationship. The cast also includes Ha Young as senior nurse Chun Jang-mi, Yoon Kyung-ho as surgeon Han Yu-rim, and Jung Jae-kwang as resident Park Kyung-won.
