Disney+ original series “Knock-Off,” starring Kim Soo-hyun, is proceeding with filming as scheduled, while the actor’s agency announced plans to take legal action against YouTube allegations claiming he dated the late Kim Sae-ron for six years starting when she was a minor.

A representative from “Knock-Off” told Chosun.com on March 12, “Season 2 filming is proceeding according to plan.” Regarding media reports about the Season 1 press conference next month, the representative said, “Nothing has been decided yet. We will provide information once decisions are made.”

“Knock-Off” tells the story of a man whose life is completely changed by the IMF crisis, transforming from an ordinary office worker into a king of the global counterfeit market. Kim Soo-hyun and Cho Bo-ah play the lead roles, with the series scheduled to be released in two seasons in the first and second half of this year.

Previously, on March 10, the far-right YouTube channel Hoverlab released an interview with the late Kim Sae-ron’s aunt, claiming that “Kim Sae-ron was in a romantic relationship with Kim Soo-hyun since she was a minor.”

In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist issued an official statement saying these were “false claims that cannot be overlooked,” adding that they “plan to review the strongest possible legal measures against this spread of false information.”

Despite Kim Soo-hyun’s side announcing legal action, the controversy continues, with some viewers demanding his removal from MBC’s entertainment program “Good Day” and others showing signs of boycotting brands he endorses.
