YG PLUS stock surged nearly 80% in three days, driven by the global success of “APT.,” a new single featuring BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars.
By 9:55 a.m. on Oct. 23, YG PLUS was trading at 4,660 won, up 3.1%, after peaking at 5,170 won earlier in the day. The stock even hit the daily price limit on Oct. 21 and 22.
The company, responsible for music distribution for YG Entertainment, is handling “APT.,” which topped Spotify’s global and U.S. charts. The music video garnered 82 million views in just four days on YouTube, nearing 100 million.
