Some KTX bullet trains start running nonstop between Seoul and Busan on Wednesday, KORAIL said Tuesday. Cutting the travel time to two hours and eight minutes, the services will be offered on a trial basis once a day from Monday through Thursday until Dec. 14.
If the weekday service proves viable, KORAIL will expand it to weekends as well. The current fare of W51,800 (US$1=W1,156) for a weekday one-way trip will be applied until new fares come out in January.
