Police are investigating a leaked sex video and photos apparently featuring a TV presenter and former Miss Korea. The video was uploaded on a blog on Sunday and quickly went viral.
Police said an attorney for the presenter filed a complaint against unknown for posting the clip and pictures. Police said the lawyer did not comment on whether the individual in them really is the presenter.
In the video, a young woman who appears to be the presenter is engaged in a sexual act with a man, whose face is hidden. The blogger who posted the video and photos said he is a friend of a man who used to live with the presenter and "could no longer stand to watch [the presenter] hurt other people with her affectations and selfishness."
The blogger added, "As their relationship worsened, the former lover threatened to speak out about the lurid details of her private life, and her brother hired thugs who beat and locked up the ex-boyfriend and forced him to write a blood oath of silence." The blogger said the presenter watched as her former boyfriend was being assaulted.
Police are investigating who uploaded the video and photos and how the person obtained the files.
