North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's wife Ri Sol-ju gave birth to a third child in February, the National Intelligence Service here told lawmakers Monday.
The NIS was briefing lawmakers in the National Assembly's Intelligence Committee.
Ri vanished from public view for about nine months last year.
According to the NIS, Kim and Ri married in 2009 and had their first child in summer in 2010 and their second in January 2013.
Their second child is a girl, according to former NBA player Dennis Rodman, who is friendly with Kim.
The sex of the other two is unknown.
