North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his daughter Kim Ju-ae attended the completion ceremony of the new street in Pyongyang’s northern region, called ‘Jeonwi Street,’ as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on May 15.
Ju-ae’s appearance on the public platform comes just two months after her participation in the Korean People’s Army Special Operation Force (KPASOF) training guidance on March 15 and the Kangdong Greenhouse Farm completion ceremony.
The completion ceremony for Jeonwi Street began on the afternoon of the 14th and extended to an evening commemorative performance accompanied by fireworks. Kim Jong-un and his daughter stayed until the end of the commemorative performance.
Jeonwi Street spans from Seosan Intersection in front of the Three Revolutions Exhibition to Sambong Bridge. The name ‘Jeonwi’ is derived from the ‘Youth Vanguard (Jeonwi),’ a group of young people actively involved in advancing the ideals and construction projects of North Korea.
