Kim Ye-ji (31), a silver medalist in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s event at the 2024 Paris Olympics and a member of the Imsil-gun County Office Shooting Team, has been chosen as a model for a Louis Vuitton photo shoot.
On August 19, Kim officially signed with the celebrity management company Plfil, which will support her in a variety of domestic and international endeavors, including advertising and media appearances.
Kim Ye-ji is set to participate in a Louis Vuitton photo shoot, though it has been clarified that this is a one-time event rather than a long-term endorsement deal. Interest in her from various industries, including startups, gaming, and food companies, is reportedly high, with numerous advertising offers coming her way.
Ryu Min-guk, CEO of Plfil, stated, “We have received about 20 advertising inquiries and around 10 requests for broadcast appearances for Kim so far. Our primary focus will remain on her training and competition schedule, and we aim to help her shine even brighter on the global stage.”
Kim Ye-ji secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol final at the Paris Olympics on July 28. Her calm demeanor, particularly when she set down her gun after breaking a world record in the past, drew widespread attention online. Even Elon Musk commented, “She should be cast in an action movie. No acting required.”
NBC also recognized Kim Ye-ji as one of the top 10 stars to watch at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
