Museum Deep Dive, located in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, on July 2 said it has won the Winner award in two categories—Interior Architecture and Cultural Exhibitions—at this year’s iF Design Award in Germany.

The iF Design Award, organized by the German iF International Forum, is one of the world’s top three design awards, alongside Germany’s Red Dot Design Award and the United States’ International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). This year, more than 11,000 entries were submitted by global design companies from 72 countries.

Museum Deep Dive impressed with its advanced technology, such as interactive displays and kinetic art, earning recognition for its artistic value. The exhibition stood out for its immersive nature, utilizing all five senses by incorporating scents along with visual and auditory elements.

The media art exhibition space also won in the Culture and Arts category of the Digital Media & Services division at the A.N.D Awards last year.

The museum features 12 unique exhibition spaces centered around sensory media art. Visitors can experience the beauty of nature through themes inspired by Gangwon Province’s blue seas and Mt. Balwangsan, and engage in high-immersion spaces that fuel imagination and provide mystical experiences.

Since opening in July 2023, Museum Deep Dive has attracted about 200,000 visitors in its first year, becoming a beloved destination for art and exhibition enthusiasts and families seeking diverse experiences for their children.
