Ahead of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Seoul & Busan 2025, the MICHELIN Guide has unveiled the Bib Gourmand selection, featuring 77 restaurants in total: 58 in Seoul and 19 in Busan. This year, the list includes 10 new entries in Seoul and 4 in Busan, showcasing a significant rise in Korean, Thai, and vegan cuisines.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, comments, “Seoul has firmly established itself as a ‘gastronomy destination,’ not only showcasing Korean cuisine but flavors from across the globe. Busan stands out for its affordable, local dining scene.”

Bib Gourmand restaurants offer exceptional value-for-money gourmet experiences, with meals priced under 45,000 KRW per person. The complete list will be available on February 27, 2025, via the MICHELIN Guide website and mobile app. The lists are below.

Gomtang Lab: Specializes in beef bone soup, offering a range of variations, including clear, meat-only, and spicy versions.

Neungdong Minari: Known for its gomtang topped with fresh, piquant minari, made from hanwoo beef slaughtered on the day of preparation.

Nishimuramen: A unique fusion of Japanese ramen and French cooking, featuring rich, multifaceted flavors with local and traditional twists.

Myeon Seoul: Focuses on whole wheat, mung bean-based handmade noodles, offering a variety of flavorful noodle dishes paired with traditional Korean alcohol.

Mipildam: A cozy spot serving northern Korean-style mandutguk (dumpling soup) based on a family recipe from the owner’s grandmother.

Seokyonanmyunbang: A creative blend of Italian pasta and Korean egg noodles, offering dishes like Gueomdak nanmyeon with Jeju chicken.

Seoryung: Specializes in buckwheat noodles made from hand-sourced ingredients, paired with tender pork shoulder mandu and various noodle variations.

ALT.a: A vegan Korean-Chinese restaurant serving plant-based alternatives in dishes like jjamppong and fried tangsuyuk.

Okdol Hyeonok: Offers Pyongyang naengmyeon with deep, savory broths and rich, nutty buckwheat noodles, alongside unique seasonal dishes.

Youhan: A chic Thai bistro offering creative twists on traditional Thai dishes, including sausages, grilled duck, and seasonal sashimi, paired with natural wines and sake.
