Haedong Yonggung Temple, located in Busan, South Korea, is uniquely situated facing the sea, offering picturesque views. Renowned as a prime location for sunrise viewing, the temple attracts numerous visitors each Lunar New Year. Additionally, it is known for conducting the ‘Boreum Buddhist Ceremony for life release,’ a ritual where fish are liberated back into the ocean on the 15th day of each lunar month.
